I’m hosting a guest post today for the tour for “Guardians, Inc”. I’ll leave the word to Julian Rosado-Machain, author of this YA fantasy adventure.
Guest Post
And thank you Majanka so much for letting us hijack your blog for Guardians Inc. business… I am not going to bore you with the story of Guardians Inc. or what we do… Chances are you wouldn’t believe me anyway, and it’s kind of boring so, dum… dum… dum…. Magic in the real world! Where to start?
I know!
ELVES in College! Yeah! That’s the ticket!
Elves live in their pristine cities and kingdoms inside our national parks. (Eidameran in Mendocino California is probably the largest one), but they are not the sylvan lot they used to be and that are still portrayed in the movies and books. No, they have evolved with the times and now the Elven families are sending their young to be educated in human universities.
Remember the cute girl that spent most of the classes by herself and that would not attend any party? The one with the long hair that never wanted to show her ears in public? Probably as elven as the guy with the perfect skin that became the lone surfer on the weekends that always wore a beanie hat, even in the water…
They are cute but they are also aloof and, at least among humans, loners…. Can’t blame them though, they live from hundreds to thousands of years so they don’t really want a relationship with humans.
Or so most of them say, but there are some out there, some that are in college for their fifth or sixth degree that really know how to party and that don’t mind hanging out with humans. I’ve never been invited one of those parties, but I’m hopeful… and now that you know that they are around I hope you do get to attend one of those parties.
If you do, please invite me.
Now, the ad: If you want to know a little bit more of that magical world just around the corner of your house take a visit to www.guardians inc.com or join us at www.facebook.com/Guardians.Incorporated
Elves are just the tip of the iceberg!
And with that we return control of the blog to Majanka!
Cheers and happy reading,
Julian Rosado-Machain

About the Book
GUARDIANS INC.: THE CYPHER is two stories in one. A glimpse into a multinational company that is in reality the oldest of secret societies, one that spans close to seven thousand years of existence, weaving in and out of history, guiding and protecting humanity from creatures and forces that most of us believe are only mythology and fairy tales.
The other is the story of Thomas Byrne, a young man thrust into secrets he shouldn’t be aware of and dangers he shouldn’t face but, that he ultimately will, for he is a Cypher. The only one who can steer humanity’s future.
The ultimate conspiracy theory is that Magic is real. Kept in check by technology but, every five hundred years the balance can shift and, if it does, technology will fail and those creatures we’ve driven into myth will come back with a vengeance.
To protect the present, Guardians Incorporated needs to know the future, and to unlock the future they need a Cypher.
This is the first book of the Guardians Inc Series.
