One Last Hold is an engaging novel that manages to combine romance and suspense in an entertaining read. Wesley Webb is an auto racer at the prime of his career when his main rival is murdered. Evidence at the scene makes him the prime suspect. He’s under press scrutinity particularly from Caitlyn Daniels, an ex-girlfriend who knows all about his secret past.
Caitlyn thought she’d never see Wesley again, but as soon as they meet, the chemistry between them plays up again. They try to put aside the past and figure out what’s going on and who is trying to frame Wesley.
The characters are great and they have wonderful chemistry. The writing is amazing, the plot is solid, and overall it’s a very enjoyable read.
