I previously read and reviewed the other installments in this series: First Experience, Weekend Experience, Birthday Experience, European Experience and Friends’ Experience. I enjoyed every single book in the series, so I was looking forward to reading this next installment.
Sam and Kelly, although Sam is a lot older than Kelly, have a strong and loving relationship. They see each other as equals, and handle each other with respect. The book, as the others in the series, switches from Kelly’s POV to Sam’s POV. Although the book is part of a series, I wouldn’t say you had to read each installment to enjoy this one, although it does help to show Sam and Kelly’s journey.
In this installment, Island Experience, Sam has brought Kelly and her friends to an exotic island, where they explore even more of their deepest desires and forbidden fantasies. I enjoyed getting to know Kelly’s friends better – I have a pretty good idea of Kelly and Sam at this point, but her friends are still somewhat of a mystery. Connecting with them also makes it easier to see the full picture of Sam, Kelly and their relationship, which also includes some fun with her friends once in a while.
The book doesn’t shy away from pulling readers out of their sexual comfort zone, but in a good way. They make you wonder the possibilities when you think beyond the boundaries of what society tries to inflict upon us.
As usual, the writing is great, and the characters are engaging. If you want erotic romance that really lets you connect to the characters, I recommend this one.
