It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (96)

itsmonday

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by BookDate. It’s where book bloggers gather to talk about what books they read and reviewed last week, what books they’re currently reading and what books they’re planning to read. This is a great way for me to plan my reading week, and to take a sneak peek at what others are reading.

I didn’t get to read much last week, but I hope to catch up on some books this week. What are you planning to read this week?

Comments

  1. I started Three Dark Crowns, but left it at work when I took my break, so I couldn’t continue it. I was 100 pages in and it was really good up until that point. I love Forensics stuff. Though I say that knowing it usually scares me, too. Have a great reading week!

  2. Interesting assortment of books. I’ve been meaning to give Kendare Blake a try but fear that her books are a little closer to horror than I like. Come see my reading week here. Happy reading!

    • Her previous series, Anna Dressed in Blood, was horror, but Three Dark Crowns isn’t, it’s fantasy. So maybe that’s a good place to start! 🙂

  3. I hope you are enjoying Three Dark Crowns! I really did but I know it wasn’t for everyone.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog earlier and I hope you have a great week!

  4. Ooh Three Dark Crowns! I’m reviewing it on Thursday and liked it (mostly). Keen to see your thouihts!

  5. Three Dark Crowns is definitely on my TBR. I have two Kindle books, one is a historical romance that I feel I’m not quite connecting with; I’m going to give it another chapter and if I don’t feel that excitement like when I read Julia Quinn, then it’ll go to the DNF. The other book is the second installment of the Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series. I have yet to be a quarter into the book; I’m still waiting for someone to get murdered.

    • I hope you do end up connecting with the historical romance, but if you don’t, then it’s a good idea to add it to your DNF pile. No use finishing a book if you don’t connect with it or don’t like, not when there are so many good books out there!

  6. Ooh, Three Dark Crowns! I’m trying to read it! It sounds really fantastic! Hope you enjoy it and that you had a great week! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  7. Ooh I’mm looking forward to seeing what you think of Three Dark Crowns. Thank you for stopping by my It’s Monday yesterday!
