This week’s question:

“What is your most anticipated book of 2017?”

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas, no doubt. I fell in love with this series, and I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book.

This week’s question:

“What is your favorite book set in a “winter” world?

Gosh, what a difficult question! I’d have to say Narnia. And maybe The Shining too, winter plays a huge role there too, with the isolation of the hotel and stuff.

This week’s question:

What is your favorite scary story?”

How am I supposed to answer that? I live and breathe scary stories, I can’t pick a favorite! My favorite scary short stories, that I can tell you. It’s a tie between “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream” by Harlan Ellison. Now, that one totally messed me up.

What are your favorite scary stories?

This week’s question:

“Give a funny blurb to a book that will “tickle” those who haven’t read the book yet.

Whiny teenage girl falls in love with mysterious, extremely handsome guy who attends her new school, along with his slightly off family members. Aforementioned hottie likes the girl too, but must insert unnecessary drama into their relationship by claiming they can’t be together, although he does watch over her at night in a very creepy, stalker-like way. A lot of usual drama, barely any plot movement, oh, and turns out mystery guy is a vampire. Except sunlight doesn’t burn him – it makes him sparkle.

Guess what book this is for? Yep, Twilight.

This week’s question:

Top ten favorite covers”

Yeeeep… I included the cover of my own book, “The Soul Thief”, LOL. Well, it did say favorite covers and it’s one of my favorites, so… 🙂

This week’s question:

“What are some of your biggest pet peeves with books? i.e. love triangles etc.?”

Good question! One of my biggest pet peeves is missing parent syndrom. It makes sense, sometimes, but when the parents are just conveniently not around when bad stuff happens in YA books, I call that lazy writing. I also HATE insta-love. HATE, hate, hate it so much it could make me instantly stop loving the book (haha, get my pun?)

This week’s question:

Why did you start blogging?”

I started blogging back in 2010 (oh my God, has it been so long!) First, I blogged about personal things, but a few months after that, I wanted to start a book review blog. I had come across one other book review blog that really inspired me, and I loved reading. I started out by reviewing books I had in my closet, and then branched out to ARCs and review copies and so on.

I wanted to share my views on certain books with the world, or even scream it in the void if I had to, but I had no idea the book blogging community was so large! I started blogging to share my opinion but I kept on blogging because reading is my passion and it’s so amazing I get to share it with so many people, communicate with them about our shared obsession and so on.

This week’s question:

Help us give our Feature Interview Questions a fresh look! What questions do you think we should ask our weekly features?”

Tough one! Maybe something like: What would you do in a world without internet? Or how would you survive a zombie apocalypse? Or if somehow you can’t blog about books anymore, how would you spend your spare time?

What questions would you suggest?

This week’s question:

Share a random quote from a book you’re reading.

Quote: Married life wasn’t what I’d expected. Don’t get me wrong: I had no regrets about the woman I’d married. In fact, I loved her more than I’d ever imagined it was possible to love a person. The reality we lived in, though? Well, let’s just say I’d never really imagined anything like that either.

This week’s question:

If you could have an endless supply of food what would it be?

Spaghetti bolognese. It’s my favorite food in the world. I’d eat it every day if I could.

 What would you choose?
