Teaser Tuesdays (37)

Teaser-Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. In this meme, we grab our current read, open it to a random page and share two teaser sentences from somewhere on that page with our readers.

Here is my teaser:

These accounts tell of man’s inhumanity toward his fellow man and provide an inside look at infamous serial killers, assassins, sadistic rapists, bank robbers, kidnappers, Satan worshippers, and a plethora of other notorious criminals. At one point, these cirmes gripped the nation, but many have faded from our collective consciousness.

What’s your teaser for this week?

Comments

  1. This is definitely different from my usual reads, but interesting nevertheless.
Thanks for sharing and stopping by my blog earlier 🙂

  2. Books like this have always interested me.. I LOVE reading and watching things that give you an insight to how someones mind is working. I am addicted to the ID channel, since it is always airing shows like that! Good choice!

  3. Kathy Martin says:

Sounds creepy. I prefer my killers to be fictional like in my choice this week. The teaser on my adult blog comes from A Voice from the Field by Neal Griffin. Happy reading!

  4. Oh wow. That sounds intense!

  5. I don’t think I would enjoy this one but I hope you do! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  6. I recognize a couple of those killers on the cover! Even Patty Hearst is there, although, technically, she was a victim of Stockholm’s Syndrome…lol.

Thanks for sharing, and enjoy. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  7. Great teaser! I’d actually be really interested in this book. Sounds very intriguing! 🙂

  8. Boy does that ever sound scary. I might be able to take it in small doses over time but I think it would give me nightmares. To true life of just a small portion of life; I’d rather dwell on the great stuff humans do for each other. Although, my current read maybe isn’t too much better. Even though it’s fiction, it’s based on real situations in real cultures. I’m not too far into it, but I think it’s going to end on a positive note: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-1aM

  9. Yikes! Definitely not for me… I FAR prefer my villains to be fictional. But nonetheless, it looks a powerful read and fascinating research if you are planning to write something featuring a similar antagonist. This is my offering this week…

  10. Sounds like fascinating reading. I’m thinking one of the members of my writing group would enjoy it. She writes murder mysteries, while I’m into romance and women’s fiction.
My Tuesday post features THE GIVER.

  11. Sounds interesting!! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  12. Woah that sounds like a heavy book!! Are you enjoying it so far?!? It sounds really interesting. 😀
