But when the Inquisitioners attack, Henri convinces Chantal to embark on a journey to a new land, a journey that may well mean the survival of the entire Magiste race but the loss of her freedom forever.

I’m a proud born-and-bred Jersey Girl with Brooklyn roots. And I still live where it all started – I married my very own alpha male many eons ago, and until recently, was a full-time working mom to two school-age children. Still the mom – no longer the FT worker. Even so, due to a daughter heading off to college and a son who plays travel ice hockey, free time still remains a luxury. I spend the bulk of what time I manage to scrounge up lost in the worlds of my own making. I love to read and write hot, sexy and emotional stories about people both glamorous and not-so-glamorous. And some of my characters are even downright un-heroic, which is part of what makes them so interestingly sexy, in my opinion!
On the rare occasions I’m not taking advantage of that valuable free time by writing, you can catch me playing in my other favorite twisted historical worlds of Sleepy Hollow, Reign and the History Channel’s Vikings. I’m also a huge fan of Harry Potter, Highlander, Charmed, and DragonBall Z! Yeah, that’s a strange combo of fandoms, but each one features some of the sexiest villains ever. Did I mention I love villains? Funny how so many of them inspire the (anti) heroes in my books. And let’s not forget my beloved NY Rangers. Personally, I find hockey players to be the real men of sports – and of course, I’m partial to the bad boys who aren’t afraid to stand up and take out their opponents!
