I read Switched and loved it, so I had to add Torn to this list. Also, I adore the cover of Born Wicked, it’s the first on my to-buy list after I’ve purchased the City of Bones series by Cassandra Clare.

Since I love The Immortals series, and I enjoyed reading the interactions between Ever and her younger sister Riley, I was very thrilled when I heard Alyson Noel had written a spin-off series featuring Riley. Can you imagine my surprise when, not only was there a spin-off, but there were already three books in the spin-off series as well? These are definitely on my wishlist!

I have read Paranormalcy by Kiersten White and both Hush, Hush and Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick. Since I loved both of these series, it’s only natural that copies of follow-ups in these series are included on my wishlist. As for The Mortal Instruments, that’s a funny story. My boyfriend wanted to surprise me by ordering a book from Book Depository. He ended up ordering City of Fallen Angels, the fourth book in the series. Since I want to read it desperately – duh – I really want the first books.

What’s on your wishlist this week?

On My Wishlist is a weekly meme that runs every Saturday, and is hosted by Book Chick City. It’s where bloggers list all the books they want but haven’t bought yet. They can be old or new or forthcoming releases. I keep my list to maximum four books a week, because else you would think I’m an awfully greedy, materialistic person.

• Hades (Halo #2) by Alexandra Adornetto

I heard a lot of good things about The Night Circus, and when I came across the book in my local bookstore last week it took me all my self-restraint not to buy it (which would mean I would have to go another week without food – since I’m a poor student – to be able to read the book). Anna Dressed in Blood has been on my wishlist since forever, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. And about Hades, I was one of the few who did enjoy Halo, at least partly, and I am curious to find out what happens next.
