Audrey Green’s life was going nowhere fast. She didn’t think things could get any worse until a stranger at a door proved her wrong.

Mistaken for another woman, Audrey is abducted and thrown into a situation she thought possible only in the movies.

Upon discovering the identity of her gorgeous yet arrogant captor, Audrey is forced to make the hardest decision of her life: Fight for her freedom… or stay and be rewarded.

A simple choice with a huge reward.
Easy decision, right?
Or will her choice and her captor’s secret ultimately lead to more danger than she could ever be prepared for?

In Abduction, as the title suggests, our main character Audrey gets abducted. She’s mistaken for another woman, abducted, and forced into the kind of situations she thought only happened in movies.

Her captor is gorgeous, but arrogant. Liam is not the kind of man Audrey should fall for, but yet she has an undeniable attraction toward him. And then she must make the toughest decision of her life: fight for her freedom, or stay…and be rewarded.

Except that her choice may put her into even more danger.

I don’t want to spoil too much, so I won’t go into too many details. I really enjoyed the book. It was different, and I liked the people I was supposed to hate (like Liam). I thought Audrey was an interesting character. I didn’t agree with all her choices, but I understood why she made them.

A suspenseful, thrilling read with a dose of romance.

Award-winning writer, Brett Scott Ermilio, delivers his highly anticipated romance/suspense series, The Connolly Affair.

Nicki Connolly’s life has flat lined. Nicki’s dull marriage to her husband, Aiden, flounders further and further into a hopeless abyss. Despite the setbacks, Nicki attempts to balance being a working mother, a successful attorney and relishes the distractions of a budding romance with a man named Taylor Diamond. Nicki has been assigned lead attorney in a massive class-action lawsuit that will make or break her career at the firm of Rapture and Myers. That is when the handsome Taylor Diamond appears in her life.

Taylor Diamond has been named second chair for the big case. Taylor has it all: looks, brains, a strong family name and many connections. But dark forces loom and converge upon Nicki and Taylor. As obstacles grow, the two form a fiery bond just as the case and her life reach an epic breaking point.

The Connolly Affair delivers a suspense-filled thrill ride that will have readers on the edge of their seats.

In The Connolly Affair, author Brett Scott Ermiio combines romance and suspense in a book that kept me onthe egde of my seat. Nicki Connolly isn’t too happy about her life. Her marriage is dull, her husband barely resembles the man she married anymore, and she struggles to combine being a mom with being a successful attorney. When she’s assigned lead attorney in a class-action law suit, Taylor Diamond, the second in command for the big case, sweeps her off her feet. He is everything she ever dreamed of: smart, handsome, well-connected, humorous, mysterious.

Nicki soon finds herself falling for this man, but unfortunately this connection puts her in harm’s way, and dark forces threaten both of them.

The book was intriguing, and the plot was enjoyable. Some of those twists I really didn’t see coming. However, Nicki and Taylor have an almost insta-connection, or insta-love thing going on, and I found that the weak point of the book. It didn’t bother me that much here as it does in other books, since we have the whole suspense angle here too that somehow managed to pull my attention away from the insta-love.

Fans of romantic suspense will enjoy this book, and if you want a light read that will still manage to surprise you, I’d recommend The Connolly Affair.
