Teaser Tuesdays (8)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

“Can’t we just stay here forever?” she asked. “I’ll never get enough of this. Of you.”
“I hope not.” Daniel smiled, but soon, too soon, his wings shifted, flattening out. Luce knew what was coming next. A slow descent.
She kissed Daniel one last time and loosened her arms from around his neck, preparing herself for flight – but then she lost her grip.
And fell.

  4. Hello Majanka,
Some brilliant teaser lines by you this week.
You really NEED to know what happens next, even if, like me, this is not your usual genre of book.
Having checked out the synopsis, I guess this book needs to be read in conjunction with ‘Fallen’ and doesn’t work so well as a stand alone story?
The cover art is truly captivating and fits so well with that of ‘Fallen’. The imagination and artistry of some of the graphic artists and designers is really amazing.
    Enjoy your book.
