It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (15)

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?  is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila of Book Journey. It’s where book bloggers gather to talk about what books they read and reviewed last week, what books they’re currently reading and what books they’re planning to read. This is a great way for me to plan my reading week, and to take a sneak peek at what others are reading.

  1. Torn looks really good as does Kill Me Again. Thank you for stopping by!
    Happy Reading!!

    • I loved Kill Me Again. It’s about a girl who goes back to the town her Mom was born, and figures out she’s already been there once. Last time, she was a one-year-old toddler and she managed to find the body of a teenage girl, who had supposedly drowned. But as she spends time in town, she discovers secrets and mysteries that make her believe that the girl didn’t drown. She was murdered. I really liked reading it. It’s the first book I read by Leslie Rule but it was totally worth it. I have another one on my TBR pile, Whispers from the Grave. I hope that one’s just as good!

  2. Kill Me Again has my interest. Have a great week of reading.

    • It was really a great book. I hope to review it soon. Paranormal mysteries/thrillers are one of my favorite kind of books. I was a tad bit dissapointed there were no ghosts in this one, but there was reincarnation, a series of murders and an intriguing main character. Definitely worth reading!

  3. I really do have to read the Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking. I even have an autographed copy of the first one somewhere on my TBR mountain. Have a great week!

    • I’m so jealous of you now! I want an autographed copy of Switched as well! I really have to buy Ascend though. I loved both Switched and Torn. Expect reviews soon…ish 🙂

  4. The covers for Abandoned and Torn are gorgeous!

    • They are, aren’t they? Abandoned was really creepy though. It’s about a serial killer who locks women up in dungeons for seven years so their husbands can claim life insurance and then give the killer half the money. From that synopsis, I didn’t think it would be that creepy. Normally serial killers don’t scare me – at least not in novels. But this one WAS scary. He didn’t act based on perverse feelings or something, and he wasn’t an actual sociopath either. That made this book very creepy!

  5. I do love the cover of Torn! Enjoy your week!

  6. Unicorn Keep sounds fun! It’s nice to see something other than vampires, zombies, etc.

    • I know! I’m a bit tired of vampires and zombies as well, so I’m glad I get to read something else for a change. Plus, I love the cover!

  7. I love the title of Unicorn Keep!! 🙂 Hope its a goodie!
    Happy reading this week 🙂
    What are YOU reading??

  8. I haven’t read the series, but I like the look of Abandoned. I may need to look into that one further.

    • I didn’t read the series either, but it’s not necessary at all to be able to read the book. I did think it was scary – and I don’t scare easily, so that’s saying something. You’re warned! 🙂

  9. I’ve heard good things about the Trylle trilogy, they’re on my TBR mountain. Have a great week and happy reading 🙂

  10. Oh, I really need to read the Amanda Hocking books!! They look so good! Hope you enjoy them! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  11. I haven’t read these authors but there are some grand covers.
Hope your week is going well.
