But tracking down killers is a dangerous job, and the truth may not always be crystal clear.

Part thriller, part courtroom drama, My Sister’s Grave is an excellent addition to the crime genre. Although I saw the “big reveal” coming from miles away, that didn’t keep me from enjoying the plot, the characters and the setting. Tracy Crosswhite is an engaging heroine, and now I noticed this book is the first in a series, I can’t wait to read the other installments.

The characters, especially Tracy, really carry the book. The small town setting, with secrets harbored by just about everyone, works great for this type of plot. And the plot itself was certainly refreshing. The flashbacks from past to present worked well too, and overall, this was just a really enjoyable read, and one I’d recommend to any thriller / mystery fan.
