This week’s question:
“Why did you start blogging?”
I started blogging back in 2010 (oh my God, has it been so long!) First, I blogged about personal things, but a few months after that, I wanted to start a book review blog. I had come across one other book review blog that really inspired me, and I loved reading. I started out by reviewing books I had in my closet, and then branched out to ARCs and review copies and so on.
I wanted to share my views on certain books with the world, or even scream it in the void if I had to, but I had no idea the book blogging community was so large! I started blogging to share my opinion but I kept on blogging because reading is my passion and it’s so amazing I get to share it with so many people, communicate with them about our shared obsession and so on.

Ooh nice! That’s a great “origin” story! My blog was initially a book blog. But I shudder looking at some of my early “reviews”. They were more me just gushing about how I loved said book. Didn’t really describe anything about why I loved it. I’ve learned sooo much since then!
Here’s my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT day!

I can relate to your reasons, and I was also surprised to see how large the community was! I had no idea there were so many book bloggers… 🙂 A pretty awesome group of people and you don’t really know they’re out there unless you discover the book blogs!
The community is large and getting larger by the day. It’s great to be a part of it!
Old Follower.

I actually started my blog the same way.I set it up one night needing to express myself about things going on in my life but that didn’t even get anywhere and I had forgot about it until I started exploring the reading and blog community. My original blog name was Just Me.Myself, and I bc of my original idea for blogging but it didn’t reflect what my blog evolved it so I changed it last year to Book Butterfly in Dreamland.
