Title: King’s Cage
Author: Victoria Aveyard
Genre: Young Adult Fantasy

When Tea accidentally resurrects her brother from the dead, she learns she is different from the other witches in her family. Her gift for necromancy means that she’s a bone witch, a title that makes her feared and ostracized by her community. But Tea finds solace and guidance with an older, wiser bone witch, who takes Tea and her brother to another land for training.

In her new home, Tea puts all her energy into becoming an asha — one who can wield elemental magic. But dark forces are approaching quickly, and in the face of danger, Tea will have to overcome her obstacles…and make a powerful choice.

This book sounds amazing. Not to mention the cover is GORGEOUS. I really enjoyed “The Girl from The Well”, so I’m looking forward to another book written by Rin Chupeco, especially one that looks as stunning as this book.

  1. I have an ARC of this but since it doesn’t come out until next year, I’ve kind of placed it on the back burner. I think it sounds great though and I love almost anything to do with witches!

  2. I’ve seen this one around the blogosphere. Hope you love it!

  8. Looks like the title and the author don’t match, confused me for a moment because I’m familiar with King’s Cage but this one, this cover is new to me. Sounds interesting and so so beautiful. Adding The Bone Witch to my TBR!
