I’m waiting for…
Title: Eliza and Her Monsters
Author: Francesca Zappia
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary
In the real world, Eliza Mirk is shy, weird, and friendless. Online, Eliza is LadyConstellation, anonymous creator of the wildly popular webcomic Monstrous Sea. Eliza can’t imagine enjoying the real world as much as she loves her digital community, and has no desire to try.
Then Wallace Warland, Monstrous Sea‘s biggest fanfiction writer, transfers to her school. Wallace thinks Eliza is just another fan, and Eliza begins to wonder if a life offline might be worthwhile. But when Eliza’s secret is accidentally shared with the world, everything she’s built—her story, her relationship with Wallace, and even her sanity—begins to fall apart.
With illustrations from Eliza’s webcomic, as well as screenshots from Eliza’s online forums and snippets of Wallace’s fanfiction, this uniquely formatted book will appeal to fans of Noelle Stevenson’s Nimona and Rainbow Rowell’s Fangirl.

This looks like a fun and quirky read. What are you waiting for this week?
This looks really cute! I love when books incorporate mixed media.
This one is new to me and it looks like an interesting book. I think that the concept is really unique. I hope that you enjoy this one! 🙂
I think a blogger friend of mine is reading this book right now! I’ve not really heard of it but it seems pretty interesting. I like this trend of incorporating technology and the internet in YA lit. I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it!
Have a lovely week. =)

This sounds like a fun read and I immediately thought of Fangirl when I read the synopsis so was pleased to see the bit at the end confirming that it would be a good read for fans of that book. Hope you enjoy it!
This sounds super cute! HAPPY READING!!
So it had me with the summary but to add in a Fangirl connection I am so so in. I love the idea of the book having images and snippets that just add to the story!
Ooh, this is a great pick and the cover is so cute. Anything that has a connection to Fangirl is a book that I definitely want to read. 🙂
