A sizzling red hot and very funny erotic romance series starring the spunky heroine Sydney Wilde, presents Book 1- ‘Sole Obsession’. This is the perfect easy pool read book, complete with suspense and comedy, and topped with a large serving of indulgent sexy scenarios. The storyline follows a frustrated woman looking for love, all the while unaware she is the sole obsession of a predator who is determined they shall be together. The Wilde Horses are her group of friends, all sexually confident and happy to share their skills and passion. You will certainly recognize at least one person you know among these characters, if you don’t recognize yourself. The book will thrill, excite, and make you laugh out loud as well as look over your shoulder more often. Enjoy the journey and look for the next in the series, Book 2-‘ Evangeline,Miss Match’… AKA ‘The Online Date Killer’ coming soon!

In Sole Obsession, Sydney Wilde is a spunky heroine looking for love. Her friends are all looking for pretty much the same thing, except they each have a different way of how they want to accomplish that.

The book definitely has some suspense, but it isn’t exactly a thriller – the focus is much more on the sex, romance and comedy. Sydney and her friends like to experiment, and they like to talk about their experiences and share their thoughts with one another. Each of them had a distinct personality, and they all brought something to the table. They acted like real people too – with their own histories, personality traits, and things that made them stand out from each other.

The author has a fast-paced writing style, and writes comedy well – as a reader, I felt like I was inside Sydney’s head, and the way she talked about things, in her own, funny,  sometimes downright hilarious voice, made the book all the more engaging. I laughed out loud quite a few times while reading.

This is a hilarious but also sizzling hot read, and I would recommend to everyone who enjoys romantic comedy and erotic romance.

After years of serving a corrupt government, Ser Videl, an idealistic paladin, learns that her younger sister is tangled in a dark scheme against Raj Mangala, the compassionate yet troubled empress of the city’s oppressed lowtown; the two women meet and are deeply drawn to one another, finding a shared sanctuary in their violently-divided city. The Scorpion’s Empress is intimately written through the eyes of both twenty-seven year old women.

Videl’s loving devotion is just what Raj craves, but Raj is wary of letting her guard down while protecting her throne. Determined to prove her worth, Videl chases after Raj and works to unravel the mystery of the plots against the empress. Raj wants Videl to serve her emotional and sexual needs, and the two explore a meaningful relationship of dominance and submission that delves fully into their deepest wants. When the conspiracy against Raj comes to a head, Videl’s loyalties are tested when she is forced to choose between her past and her empress.

The Scorpion’s Empress is a lesbian erotic romance about the sizzling hot romance between Raj Mangala, and Ser Videl. Ser Videl is a paladin, and Raj Mangala is the empress of the city’s oppressed lowtown. The two of them are almost immediately drawn to each other, and the book focuses on their relationship against the backdrop of conspiracies and political struggles.

Raj is wary of letting her guard down, and she has trouble trusting anyone, including Videl. Videl, on the other hand, has trouble deciding where her loyalties lie, and who she can and should trust, especially when she’s forced into a difficult choice.

The romance between both women has a BDSM aspect – dominant/submissive, which adds another interesting touch to the book. I also liked how the conspiracy/politics played an important part too. It wasn’t just romance, a lot was going on. The protagonists were interesting, and I must say, I liked Videl the most. Something about her personality just made her sound very realistic. Raj was all right too, I just liked Videl more.

An intriguing, sizzling erotic romance. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

As CEO of the Remington Foundation, Janine Powell is living her dream and making a difference. But an invitation to join old law school friends on a Belize getaway unleash memories of the man who forever changed how she viewed love, trust and the very meaning of intimacy. Choosing to confront her most intimate past, she agrees to join them knowing Michael Josey will be there.

Their chemistry is undeniable but emotional entanglements make their reunion anything but happily ever after. Janine soon discovers just how Dominant Michael’s become in their years apart as he takes her further into BDSM play. Freeing her mind and body becomes far easier than giving her heart—the one thing he wants most.

In Her Love and Regrets, Janine Powell is living her dream, but that might change when she gets an invitation to join her old law school friends on a holiday to Belize. Michael Josey has signed up too – the man who changed Janine’s entire outlook on love and intimacy. They had a passionate relationship back in college, but things ended badly. Now, the chemistry between them is still undeniable, but past hurts come back to haunt them. Michael has also grown even more dominant over the years, and become more experienced in BDSM play. As the two rekindle their old relationship, Janine has to decide if she’s ready to give her heart.

The book focuses a lot on Janine and Michael’s relationship, how it builds and grows, their trust for one another, and it does an excellent job portraying the world of BDSM, and how it’s more about trust than anything else – and how, without trust, you can’t have a good BDSM relationship. Janine was a very compelling, realistic character. I had more trouble understanding Michael, but eventually I did see why he did the things he did, and what drove him to make certain choices.

The writing flowed really well, and I enjoyed getting to know Janine and Michael, and seeing how their relationship developed and how they struggled to overcome their troubles.

If you enjoy erotic romance with a BDSM twist, I would definitely recommend this book.

Recently divorced from an abusive husband still intent to control her, Ava Black has two weeks before she moves back to her conservative hometown.

Encouraged by her best friend, she resurrects the wish list she started as a young girl when her number one desire was her very own horse. Over the years, The Horse List had become a mature list of her most erotic fantasies and a symbol of her rebirth as an independent woman. She can complete some of the items alone, but not everything. She needs an experienced partner with resources and the connections to places she’s only dreamed of going.

Could the handsome and wealthy artist Eric North be the partner she seeks? Will her drive to complete the list be enough to overcome her fear of him discovering the scars left from years of abuse? Will Eric protect her from her ex-husband, or will she go home to start over and give up her one chance to complete The Horse List?

In The Horse List, Ava Black recently divorced her abusive husband, but he still causes her problems. Desperate to take back control over her own life, she resurrects “The Horse List”. She came up with that list when she was a little girl who wanted her own horse. Now, over the year, it has become a list filled with her most erotic fantasies. But if Ava wants to complete all of the items on the list, she’ll need an experienced partner with resources and connections.

Eric North might be the answer she’s been looking for. She meets him in a tattoo shop and he’s everything she wanted and needs in her partner. On top of that, the two of them have an instant connection, and Eric might even help her overcome the scars of her past.

Filled with tons of erotic fantasies, the book also had suspense, drama, and well-developed characters. Often in erotic romance, I struggle with the main character and love interest being one dimensional. That’s not at all the case here, though. Ava is a complex and intriguing woman with a lot of different layers, and Eric is much more than just an alpha male.

The writing was excellent, and it immediately pulled me into the story. I can’t wait for the sequel.

A HARD DAYS NIGHT

A good girl from Iowa.
A bad boy rock star.
An unlikely love affair.

“A Hard Days Night” is the first in a series of erotic romances from the only male-female writing team in the world of romances. Bestselling expert of non-fiction romantic advice Greg Godek (“1001 Ways to be Romantic”) joins newbie writer and quiet-but-naughty recluse Anastasia Winters to create erotic romances that are sexy, sassy and classy.

(“A Hard Days Night” is NOT about The Beatles, but it IS a rock ’n roll romance!)

Freelance writer and aspiring romance novelist Abbey has a quiet, satisfying life with a loving, lovable, gentle boyfriend. Her one passion is the music of bad boy rock star Maxwell.

The power and poetry of his songs resonate deeply with Abbey. She had fallen for him (“Um, for his music!” she insists) ten years ago, when she was just seventeen. And nothing had changed in the intervening ten years. Abbey and Maxwell had a unique relationship. One that he was totally unaware of.

One day Abbey receives an unexpected gift that brings her face-to-face with the man of her dreams…Maxwell. He has everything a man could desire: Fame, fortune, success and access to as many beautiful/sexy women as he could possibly want—yet something was missing from his life.

Can a bad boy rock star fall in love with a good girl from Iowa? Can they overcome the obstacles and people that would keep them apart? Can two people from opposite sides of life come together and stay together?

SPOILER ALERT! — (This paragraph only!) This book has chase scenes! Intimate conversations! Funny banter! A love triangle! A damaged hero who is masculine yet sensitive (songwriter/poet). A heroine caught between the safe-and-comfortable and the dangerous/passionate. And plot twists like one character with amnesia, and other with deep scars—both emotional scars and physical scars!

Read “A Hard Days Night” and find yourself falling in love all over again.

Mature readers only. Ooo-la-la! This novel is as erotic as it is romantic. It’s a perfect balance written by a unique male-female writing team. Watch for more erotic romances that are sexy, sassy and classy!

In A Hard Days Night, “girl next door” Abbey receives an unexpected gift that brings her face-to-face with the man of her dreams. This man, Maxwell, is a bad boy rock star. The two of them are as unlikely as Cinderella and her Prince. Maxwell has everything a person could ever dream of: fame, fortune, success, and he can get any woman he wants. Despite that, he feels like something’s missing, and maybe Abbey will be able to fill that void.

Despite their many, many, MANY differences, Maxwell and Abbey have a lot of chemistry between them, and their relationship just…works. Not that there are no ups and downs, but it’s believable. Some parts of the book were really humorous, and the writing was excellent. The author team did a superb job making the characters feel alive, like actual living people, and the plot was never dull – in fact, it had quite a few surprises.

I would recommend this book to all fans of erotic romance;

Eight years ago, a naive Katie Crane ran from Ry and Jed, warned their brand of love would ruin her life. Now she’s all grown up and returning home with a better understanding of the BDSM lifestyle. After the betrayal she’s faced at her father’s hands, she worries she won’t be strong enough to submit to the men she gave her heart and virginity to at eighteen.

Jed Malloy and Ry McCade are surprised and thrilled by Katie’s return to Felton’s Creek. They’d been heartbroken after her departure and had turned to each other, embracing the BDSM lifestyle without her. Katie’s homecoming sparks hope and worry. Ry isn’t sure he can keep his dominant side under control, and Jed fears Katie will see him as less of a man by being a switch and Ry’s submissive.

Having Katie back could mean the beginning of everything   they’ve ever wanted or the end to the only family they’ve ever known.

I don’t read MMF menage often, but I was willing to give Bound & Teased a shot because I figured it was time I do expand my horizons a little. Katie Crane, our main character, is a submissive. She comes back home after running away from a BDSM relationship, now ready to go forward with it. Said relationship would be with Ry McKade, a Dom, and with Jed Malloy, a switch (basically, someone who is sometimes submissive, and other times, a dom).

All three characters have some huge flaws and issues, which made them all the more intriguing to read about. Ry wonders if his dominant side may push Katie away, Jed on the other hand wonders if she’ll think him less of a man because he’s a switch, and Katie wonders if they’ll be able to make the relationship work. The erotic parts of the book were excellent, with great writing and they managed to show the dynamics between the characters.

It’s definitely a hot and heavy book, and erotica fans will enjoy it.

Charlotte Bell is a typical yoga teacher. She’s friendly, earnest and has some slight masochistic tendencies. After a painful break-up she’s determined to address her long-denied kinks with the kind of man she’s always been too terrified to approch. Her friends have select James Hunter a male model turned corporate suit and after a ‘chance’ encounter at a party, James agrees to school Charlie in the harsher side of sex. He knows she’s too genuine, too kind, too everything for a guy like him but he won’t turn down an opportunity to break in a starry-eyed submissive like her. Yet as Charlie and James embark on a strings-free sexual relationship they discover a connection that runs deeper than either of them could have imagined.

Degrees of Control is an engaging, fun romance story. We have Charlotte Bell, a yoga teacher, who is sassy, honest, and has a kinky side she’s spend a lot of time hiding, but doesn’t want to hide them anymore.

The love interest, James Hunter, is a rich executive who doesn’t mind schooling Charlotte (nicknamed Charlie, so I’ll refer to her as that from now on) in the harsher side of sex. And although their erotic play tends to be edgy, the two also form a geuine connection between them that’s deeper than what either of them could’ve thought.

I liked that even though Charlie is submissive in the bedroom, she’s not submissive all the time. She knows how to stand up for herself and what she believes in. And although James is a dom, he does care a lot for Charlie. I find that too often in erotic romance, the submissive tends to have a submissive personality all around, which isn’t always the case in real life, and that the dom tends to be dominant in all aspects of life, which isn’t always true either.

The writing was great, and it was easy to connect to both characters. I enjoyed their romance, and would recommend it to all fans of erotic romance.

Beyond 50 Shades … Way Beyond!

ISLAND EXPERIENCE is an intimate exploration of kinks and fetishes by an unlikely couple, with thoughtful and philosophical discussion by the characters, and graphic descriptions of their erotic adventures.

Sam takes Kelly and her friends on a trip to a tropical island, where they not only work on their suntan, but also get tanned a few times as part of their spanking play. The friends are even more adventurous and engage in some wild times together in the beautiful island environment. Sam takes them to some places that aren’t on the usual tourist route, continuing to challenge them – and they return the ‘favor’, providing challenges for Sam, as well. The group is loving and loved, as they are now comfortable with each other in ways that most people have never experienced. What will be next for Sam, Kelly and her friends?

The Experiences series is an epic love story of erotic relationships and sexual desires. Written in a ‘literary realism’ style, the series introduces Sam in the prequel, and the blossoming of his intimate relationship with Kelly as the series progresses. Fantasies and real-world adventures coalesce to mold a unique bond between unlikely lovers. Where needs are mutually satisfied in an open, creative and trusting environment. Where physical and mental boundaries are pushed. Where the concepts of love and sex are never confused, but sometimes confusing. Where openness is required and intimacy is expected. And where fair-is-fair, regarding the punishment of transgressions.

Contemporary erotic romance: Suitable for mature readers, aged 18+ years.

Experiences: Book 7 is 139,000 words, 21 chapters, 466 print pages

WARNING!

This work contains mature content, including graphic sexual descriptions and scenes, and is provided for adults only. The Experiences series contains scenes of psychological and physical submission, discipline, and medical fetish. The characters explore various fetishes, which evolve throughout the series. ALL CHARACTERS IN THE BOOK ARE 21 YEARS OLD OR OLDER, and all activities are consensual.

I previously read and reviewed the other installments in this series: First Experience, Weekend Experience, Birthday Experience, European Experience and Friends’ Experience. I enjoyed every single book in the series, so I was looking forward to reading this next installment.

Sam and Kelly, although Sam is a lot older than Kelly, have a strong and loving relationship. They see each other as equals, and handle each other with respect. The book, as the others in the series, switches from Kelly’s POV to Sam’s POV. Although the book is part of a series, I wouldn’t say you had to read each installment to enjoy this one, although it does help to show Sam and Kelly’s journey.

In this installment, Island Experience, Sam has brought Kelly and her friends to an exotic island, where they explore even more of their deepest desires and forbidden fantasies. I enjoyed getting to know Kelly’s friends better – I have a pretty good idea of Kelly and Sam at this point, but her friends are still somewhat of a mystery. Connecting with them also makes it easier to see the full picture of Sam, Kelly and their relationship, which also includes some fun with her friends once in a while.

The book doesn’t shy away from pulling readers out of their sexual comfort zone, but in a good way. They make you wonder the possibilities when you think beyond the boundaries of what society tries to inflict upon us.

As usual, the writing is great, and the characters are engaging. If you want erotic romance that really lets you connect to the characters, I recommend this one.

I’ve read and reviewed all the previous installments in the Experiences series, and so far I’ve been surprised by the author’s creativity and her ability to keep on adding depths and layers to these characters and their relationships. I looked forward to reading Friends’ Experience, and it certainly was no dissapointment.

Like in the other books in the series, we follow Sam and Kelly as they expand their sexual horizons. They’ve been through a lot together, the two of them, and they have a strong connection, and mutual trust between them, which makes it possible for them to experience with other people too, in particular Kelly’s friends. While this installment, like the title suggests, focuses more on Kelly’s friends than on her and Sam, that doesn’t mean they don’t play a part at all, just maybe not as intense as in the previous books. What’s interesting here is that, while the other books have a very heavy focus on Kelly and Sam, here we don’t just see Kelly’s friends, Linda, Julie and Kathy in their relationship to one another but also to Kelly-Sam, thus creating a relationship that goes multiple ways and includes multiple people. We already saw part of that in the previous book, “Birthday Experiences”, but it’s even more prominent here.

It takes a skilled author to pull that off, and Simone Freier is definitely a skilled author. The entire atmosphere of the book is non-judgemental and forgiving, and it’s about love, friendship and respect more than it’s about sex, although, rest assured, sex plays a significant role too.

The book also focuses on some real life issues the characters face, like how Kelly wonders if Sam, despite being sexually open, is open on an emotional level. There’s also a submission challenge for Kelly’s friends that shows sides of them I never expected to see. We see the characters in a different daylight, once again examining their strengths and weaknesses, but this time even more up close.

It’s hard to keep rating the books because in my opinion, they just keep getting better and better. If Simone Freier writes an even better one next time, I’ll have run out of stars to give.

Book Review: His Name is Killian by Ella Adamian

Killian e-book coverTitle: His Name is Killian

Author: Ella Adamian

Genre: Erotic Romance

Age Group: Adult (18+)

Rating: 4 stars

“I met a guy today and I think he’s crazy.”
She knows little about him. Only that he paints harpies, and that he loves it rough. That he suffers from mood swings. And that his name is Killian.
He’s gentle until he’s not. Sweet until he gets angry. He has promised her a month of sexual games, but is that really what he wants from her?
As the time passes, his dark side slowly reveals itself. There is a secret in his past and it doesn’t let him rest.
This novel is intended for mature audiences only. Contains explicit sex scenes.

His Name is Killian is the unconventional romance story of Killian and Melissa, two people who couldn’t possibly be more different yet are, for some inexplicable reason, drawn to each other. Killian is a painter. He notices Melissa, a writer, one day and asks her to pose for him. She’s hesitant at first, but then agrees to do it. She soon finds herself drawn into his dark and tempting world, of rough, sensual and sexual games. But Killian has a dark side that slowly reveals itself as time moves on, and Melissa must decide if she can live with his mood swings in exchange for a kind of pleasure she didn’t think existed.

Melissa is a rather plain character. Killian here, is the interesting one. He poses an enigma, a riddle, hiding dark secrets Melissa has to uncover if she wants to know him completely. At the same time, he’s also quite scary. I found him intriguing, truly one of the most intriguing characters I’ve read about. And that he chooses Melissa of all people only make his choices more mysterious.

The book is intense, sometimes on the dark side, and over all, it offers an intriguing story with a surprising twist near the end.
